Cody Alton McNamara

Cody McNamara, 60, of Orange, Texas, passed away on January 13, 2017, in Houston, Texas.

A memorial gathering will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Friday, January 20, 2017, at Claybar Funeral Home in Bridge City. Cremation is under the direction of Claybar Funeral Home.

Born in Orange, Texas, on October 8, 1956, he was the son of David and Mary Helen McNamara. Cody worked for DuPont for 31 years and was enjoying his retirement.

He was preceded in death by his parents; grandparents, Alton and Irene Downing.

Cody is survived by his children, Jordan Tally and husband` Brooks, of Bridge City and Chase McNamara and wife Meagan, of Orange; step-children, Brad Goodwin and wife Kacy, of Orange and Jessica Goodwin, of Bridge City; his grandchildren, Austin McNamara, Makynsie Tally, Kambry Goodwin, Madison McNamara, Tucker Tally, and Brody Goodwin; and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
