PFC Seth Dylan Sartin, 19, of Orange, passed away on October 16, 2020.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, November 2, 2020, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange. Officiating will be Reverend David Millner. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., Sunday, November 1, 2020, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange.
Born in Orange, Texas, on November 14, 2000, he was the beloved son of James Kyle Sartin and Charity Faith (Seamans) Palmer. To know Seth was to know love and joy. He grew up in Orange and graduated in 2019 from Little Cypress Mauriceville High School. Seth was a remarkable and intelligent young man with an old soul and a deep love for fitness. Growing up, it was always a dream of Seth’s to join the military, and he accomplished that dream by joining the U.S. Army in 2019. He was extremely proud of his service in the Army and often compared stories with his father. Seth enjoyed singing in choir while in school and playing video games. He left an impact on all those who loved him in his short time on earth and will forever be remembered for his bright smile and gentle soul.
He is survived by his father, Kyle Sartin of Orange; mother and step-father, Charity and Steve Palmer of Vidor; grandparents, Ron and Loretta Bishop of Port Arthur, Charles and Orn Seamans of Thailand, Darlene Ochs of Orange, and Cynthia Sartin of Shreveport, Louisiana; great-grandmother, Audrey Hollis of Orange; siblings, Bandy Sartin and wife Savannah of Orange, Kellie Cook and husband Rance of Tuscola, Kylee Thompson and husband Logan of Tuscola, Aaron Sartin of Orange, Cheyenne Sartin of Vidor, and Aubree Palmer of Vidor; along with two nephews, five nieces, and numerous aunts, uncles, and other loving family members.
