Adine ?Dean? Rushing Brossette, 74, of Orange passed away April 5, 2011 in Orange.
Funeral Services will be at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, April 9, 2011, at Claybar Funeral Home Chapel in Orange. Officiating will be Pastor Randall Branch of Wesley United Methodist Church in Orange. Interment will follow at Orange Forest Lawn Cemetery.
A gathering of family and friends will be on Friday evening from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mrs. Brossette was born September 5, 1936 in Madisonville, LA to Jack Mumford and Pearlie Alford Booth. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who enjoyed cooking for other people and was an active member of Wesley United Methodist Church. She was also a volunteer at the soup kitchen and was a part of United Methodist Women.
She is preceded in death by her parents and her brother, John Henry Rushing
Those left to cherish her memory are her husband of 52 years, Billy Ray Brossette of Orange; sons and daughters-in-law, Mike and Teresa Brossette of Tallahassee, FL and Jeff and Teffanni Brossette of Austin and daughters and sons-in-law, Cora and Terry James of Orange and Gina and Mark Hollie of Montgomery. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Amanda James Hall, Ryan Brossette, Haley James Yaklin, Justin Hollie, Josh James, Brandon Hollie, Jake James, Matt Brossette, Kristen Brossette and Logan Brossette; great grandchildren, Riley and Heidi James and her sister, Pat Pierce.
Serving as pallbearers will be Justin Hollie, Brandon Hollie, Joshua James, Jacob James, Ryan Brossette and Matthew Brossette. Honorary pallbearer will be Logan Brossette.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to Wesley United Methodist Church, 401 N 37th St, Orange, TX 77630.
