Al Blake, 74, of Hemphill, Texas died Friday, April 9, 2010, at his daughter's home.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, April 12, 2010, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange. Officiating will be Reverend Jeff Bell. Burial will follow at Orange Forest Lawn Cemetery in West Orange.
Visitation will be from 9:00-11:00 a.m., Monday at the funeral home in Orange.
Al was born in Salem, Oregon on April 27, 1935. He served in the United States Army in the Korean War and was a retired construction supervisor.
He is survived by his wife, Myrtle Dorman Blake of Hemphill; daughter, Starla Blake of San Antonio; sons, Steven and Jeff Blake; son and daughter-in-law, Ronnie and Kathie Dorman of Orange; daughter and son-in-law, Debbie and Mike Pachuca of Orange; five grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Serving as Pallbearers will be Jeff Walker, Bill Sims, Willard LeBlanc, Jimmy Kirkpatrick, and Josh Sims. Honorary Pallbearers will be Mike Pachuca and Stan Marshall.
