Alberta "Bertie" Davidson
Alberta "Bertie" Davidson, 86, of Orange, passed away Tuesday, November 16, 2010, at her home.
Memorial service will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, November 19, 2010, at Claybar Funeral Home Chapel in Orange with Reverend Randy Branch officiating. Cremation will be under the direction of Claybar Haven of Rest Crematory in Bridge City.
Visitation will begin one hour prior to the service on Friday, at the funeral home.
Born in Elizabeth, Louisiana, on March 16, 1924, Bertie was the daughter of Irvin and Tressie Johnson Strother.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and sister, Geraldine Strother.
Bertie is survived by her husband, Bill Davidson; daughter and son-in-law, Sandra and Zane Gray of Burnet; sons, Glen I. Smith of El Paso, and Jack Smith of Portales, New Mexico; nine grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.
