I was a young girl and stayed with Alice and Michael for about a week back when Patrick and Rebecca were just a bit more than babes. Alice was an absolute blast and talked to me like I mattered - it was a new experience. One day, she decided that it was time I learned to drive - so we took that car down a dusty road and drive I did. I could barely see over the steering wheel. Alice made me feel special, like she actually enjoyed being around me. I'll never forget how wonderful she made me feel. And each time thereafter, her company was pure pleasure. I'm grateful she touched my life.

Alice and I have been friends since high school. My late husband worked for Wayside Inn with Alice. Alice and I remained friends throughout our adult years. We have shared our kids, and many parties with all of our friends. She was always the life of the party. We will greatly miss her. Rest in Peace my friend.
