Alice Elaine White, 69, of Orange, passed away on October 29, 2019, at Baptist Hospital in Beaumont.
Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m., Saturday, November 2, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange. Officiating will be Clay Robertson. Burial will follow at Orange Forest Lawn in Orange.
Visitation will be from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. prior to the service.
Born in Orange, Texas, on August 31, 1950, she was the daughter of James Basil Nance and Donna Jean (Coppins) Nance. Elaine worked for Little Cypress Mauriceville School district as a Special Education Para Educator for many years. She loved making crosses and doing various different crafts. Elaine loved playing the piano and was a choir director. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas White Sr.; son, Gary Duane White; sister, Evelyn Reeves; and her parents, James and Donna Jean Nance.
She is survived by her children, Thomas Ray “Tommy” White Jr. and wife Monica of Orange, Jeffery Duane “Jeff” White and wife Stephanie of Orange, Denise Reflexia and husband David of Salt Lake City, Utah; grandchildren, Brianna Renee Estrada, Grant Thomas White, Jeffery Wayne McClelland, Davey Reflexia, Alexandra Ann White, Caydence Marie White, and Ava Grace White; great grandchildren, Alijah Duane Carraway and Jaiden Luis Soto; siblings, Joanie Bandy and husband David of Hemphill, Texas, and Jamie Robertson and husband Clay of Magnolia, Texas; aunt, Mary Ruth Heger of Katy, Texas; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Serving as pallbearers will be Grant White, Scott Bandy, James Robertson, Landon Robertson, Jimmy Conley, and Bobby Conley. Honorary pallbearers will be David Bandy, Dale Reeves, Sarah George, and Christi Curl.
