Alice White Dugas, 87, of Bridge City, died Saturday, August 16, 2008, in a local hospital.
A graveside service will be 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 19, 2008, at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens near Bridge City.
Visitation will be 10:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. Tuesday at Claybar Funeral Home in Bridge City.
Born in Houston on March 6, 1921, she was the daughter of John A. and Catherine R. Borrello White.
She was a former resident of Houston and had been a resident of the local area for the past 43 years. She worked as a beautician.
Preceded in death by her husband, Joseph L. Dugas; daughter, Georgia Lynn Mills; and grandson, Joshua Kyle Divona, Mrs. Dugas is survived by her daughters, Beverly J. French of Houston, Kathryn A. Heckman of San Antonio, Margaret M. Divona and Jeanette E. Sailors, both of Bridge City; son, Robert G. Shaffer of Houston; granddaughter, Stephanie A. Rou, eight other grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
