Aline Worthy, 87, passed away, Thursday, December 18, 2008 at her home in Warren.
A funeral service will be on Sunday, December 21, 2008 at 4:30 p.m. at Claybar Kelley-Watkins Funeral Home. Officiating will be Reverend Charles Klock of Grace Bible Church in Mauriceville.
Interment will be on Monday at 11:00 a.m. at Fellowship Cemetery in Warren, Texas with Reverend Troy Richardson of First Baptist Church in Warren officiating.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Worthy was born November 23, 1921 in Hagerville, Texas to Earl and Addie Mae Pearson Collins. She was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church in Warren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Roy Jay Worthy; sister, Marie Pate and aunt, Jessie Angelo.
Those left to cherish her memory are her daughters and sons-in-law, Diane & Sam Ashworth of Beaumont and Linda & Gary Havens of Warren; grandchildren, Angela Hollingsworth and husband Dwayne, Aaron Ashworth, Andy Ashworth and Gary Havens, Jr. and wife Maryann; great grandchildren, Meagan Hollingsworth, Logan Ashworth, Tyler Hollingsworth, Piper Ashworth and Miller Ashworth. She is also survived by her sisters, Mary Hill of California, Jeanette Williams of Pollok, Texas, Billie Collins and Mollie Collins both of Warren.
The family would like to give a special thank you to those who cared for her, Dana Frazier and Healthcare Dynamics who provided home health services for 2 years. We would also like t thank Odyssey HealthCare and the continuous care team.
