Alonzo Murray Kelley, Sr., 85, of Lumberton passed away January 7, 2013 at Harbor Hospice. Mr. Kelley was born February 27, 1027 in Echo, Texas to John Joseph and Gladys Kelley. Alonzo worked as a supervisor at DuPont and retired in 1982. He was a veteran of the U. S. Navy Seabees and served in the Korean War and WWII.
He is survived by his wife, Velma Joyce Kelley; son, Alonzo M. Kelley, Jr. Red and his wife, Helen; three grandchildren, Craig J. Callender, Tammy Lynn Croghan and Windy Dawn Spaide; and great-grandchildren, Elliot and Liam Callender, Connor, Taylor and Greyson Croghan, and Kyla, Kevin and Sierra Spaide. He was preceded in death by his brothers, James M. Kelley, Sr. and John J. Kelley, Jr
