Born in Port Arthur, Texas, on November 12, 1991, she was the daughter of Albert Lee Levette and Carol Evette (Powell) Levette. Amber was a proud graduate of West Orange-Stark Class of 2010, graduating #14 in her entire class. She was intelligent, kind, a go-getter, and had the best sense of humor. Wherever Amber went, laughter was sure to follow. She lit up every room she walked into with her bright smile and made friends with everyone she met. Amber adored her nieces and nephews and loved playing with them. She was a natural born leader, and a caretaker through and through. Amber always made sure business was taken care of and was the person to always stand up for what she believed in. She loved her Lord deeply and with every fiber of her being, and her family knows she’s at peace in heaven with her Savior. Amber was a force to be reckoned with and left an impact on everyone she met. She will be deeply missed by all those who came to know and love her ferocious spirit.
She is survived by her parents, Albert and Carol Levette; grandparents, Andra Powell, Sr. and Joyce Powell; brother, Jairus Levette; step-brother, Nicholas Garrett; step-sisters, Candis Wright and Shantal Turner; and friends that were like family, Taheisha Hudson, Sharee Logan, First Lady Abigal Brooks and Pastor Larry Brooks, Roda Love, Lorraine Love, Vaneisha Hudson, Victoria Rachal, Andra Sam, Michelle Geral, Johnathan, Quannie Butler, Arlisha, Burnesha Powell, Dyshyne Powell, Cassandra Sonnier, Renee Turner, Shawn Turner and family, Brian Turner, Felecia Turner, Veronica Turner, Temecia Levette, Crystal Levette, Michael Levette, JR, Kenny Percy, Jr. and Johnathon Shelton.
