Amy Carol Anderson, 62, of Orange,Texas, passed away on November 25, 2023, at her home in Orange.
Born in Orange, Texas on December 9, 1960, she was the daughter of Lowell Glenn Sandlin and Mary Elizabeth Wilson (Young). She worked as an x-ray technician for many years, working for Dr. Howard Williams as well as at Doctor’s Hospital in Port Arthur. Amy was a kind and giving person who loved spending time with her family and friends whenever she could. She had a true green thumb and enjoyed caring for her garden. When she wasn’t gardening, Amy loved creating things through arts and crafts. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Glenn Sandlin and Mary Wilson; and her daughter, Shara Ellis.
She is survived by her loving husband, Tommy Anderson; her step-father, Donald Wilson; her siblings, Bryan Sandlin, David Sandlin and wife, Dana, Donna Dearing and husband, Steve, Kathy Lowlery, and Cyndi Riemer; her nieces and nephews, Dyanna Lea, Dae Leigh Bellamy, Dalayna Amedee, Dawson Sandlin, and Darian Sandlin; and numerous other loving family members and friends.
Cremation will be held under the direction of Claybar Funeral Home in Orange.

Amy & Myself Were Good Friends Several Years Starting @ WOS Junior& High School! We Talked About Every Month Are So!! She Was The Sweetest Friend Ever! We Always Would Catch Up About Certain Things, Have A Laugh!! She Was A Beautiful& Funny,& Loving Soul!! RIP Amy!! Love You!!:pray::broken_heart:
