Loving daughter of Lee Haylett and Bonnie Leatherwood went to rest with her Lord on November 15, 2007.
She was born February 24, 1986 in Clarion Pennsylvania and moved to Texas with her parents at an early age.
She received her high school diploma thru home schooling and was studying to be a pediatric dental assistant.
Amy had a huge love of monkeys and dolphins. She enjoyed watching TV, talking to friends and buddies on the internet and spending time with family. She never met a stranger and loved making friends. She leaves to cherish her memory, her father, Lee Haylett of Orange; mother, Bonnie Leatherwood of Orangefield; sisters, Jane Bortz of Orangefield and Mandy Bortz of Orange; brothers, Vincent Bortz of Okalahoma and Jeremy Haylett of Orange. She is also survived by her beloved niece Chasiti; herbeloved nephew, Wesley; her aunts and uncles and several cousins.
Cremation will be under the direction of Claybar Haven of Rest Crematory.
A memorial service will be at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 20, 2007 at Claybar Funeral Home in Bridge City.
