Anna Maudine Williams

November 15, 1918 — April 1, 2008

Anna Maudine Williams, 89, of Orange, passed away Tuesday, April 1, 2008, at her residence.
Funeral service will be 1:00 p.m. Friday, April 4, 2008, at Old First Orange Baptist Church in Orange. Reverend Bailey Harris will officiate. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Orange.
Visitation will be 5:00-9:00 p.m. Thursday at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange.
Anna was born November 15, 1918, in Houston County, TX, to Walter F. and Della Hearn Neel.
Anna was very active in her community. She was a member of Old First Orange Baptist Church. She served as a Charter Member of the Bridge City chapter of Eastern Star.
She also served as a Den Mother for the Boy Scouts and was active in PTA.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Della Neel, husband, Harold Williams, Sr.; and sister Era Mae Huff.
She is survived by her sons, Raleigh F. Williams, Harold Williams, Jerry Wayne Williams, Steven Alan Williams and John David Williams, all of Orange; ten grandchildren, 13 great- grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren; sisters, Nita Perkins, Hattie Sue Perry, Iva Rita Allen and Betty Harmon.
Serving as pallbearers will be Randy Williams, Brian Williams, Jeff Williams, Shawn Williams, Chris Lovett and Joey Stephenson.
