Annabel Wilson Wheatley, 74, of Orange, died, Friday, November 27, 2009, in Orange.
Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, December 1, 2009 at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange. Officiating will be Reverend Kevin Brown of First Baptist Mauriceville and Reverend Jeff Bell of Calvary Baptist Church Port Acres.
Burial will follow at Autumn Oaks Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5:00-8:00 p.m., Monday, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange.
Annabel was born on February 16, 1935, in Orange. She was the daughter of Alvin and Lorine Henry Wilson. Annabel was a member of the Eastern Star and of the Baptist Faith. She was family oriented, and an avid reader and gardener.
She is preceded in death by her parents, and son, Chuck Wheatley.
Those left to cherish her memory are her daughters and sons-in-law, Sherry and Kenneth Eckerle of Mauriceville and Kathy and Rodney Lanier of Orange; grandchildren, Kenneth Eckerle, Jr., Jamie Merriman, Tiffany Meche, Kristel Wheatley, Amber Wheatley, Chris Lanier, and Matthew Lanier; great-grandchildren, Jeremy and Joshua Eckerle, McKenna and Aiden Meche, and Charles Hayes; and brothers, Jerry Wilson and Alfred Wilson.
Serving as pallbearers are Jerry Wilson, Alfred Wilson, Matthew Lanier, Chris Lanier, Paul E. Johnson, Jamie Merriman, and Caleb Hayes.
Honorary pallbearer is Kenneth Eckerle, Jr.
