Anna Lee Richard Garza, 78, passed away Wednesday, August 29, 2012 at Opelousas General Health System in Opelousas, Louisiana.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, September 1, 2012, at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Orange with Father Tom Phelan officiating. Burial will follow at St. Mary Cemetery in Orange.
Local arrangements were held under the direction of Claybar Funeral Home in Orange.
Mrs. Garza's visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. Friday, at Melancon Funeral Home 4708 I-49 North Service Road, 337 407-1907 in Opelousas, Louisiana. Mrs. Garza was a native of Leonville, a former resident of Orange, having currently residing in Opelousas.
Survivors include one son, Roger Dale LaGrange of Opelousas; two daughters, Marla Kay Stelly and her husband, Douglas, of Baton Rouge and Johanna Lynn Garza-Williams of Opelousas; six grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John Garza; her parents, Cleophus Richard and the former, Virginia Guidroz; two brothers, Clifford Jack Richard and Herman Richard; and three sisters, Elvia Richard, Elba Richard and Virgie Sanchez.
