Annelle Calvert

Annelle Calvert, 85, of Hartburg, died Wednesday, August 19, 2009, at The Meadows in Orange.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Saturday, August 22, 2009, at Claybar Funeral Home Chapel in Orange. Officiating will be Reverend Rob Tibbits, pastor of Crossroads Baptist Church in Vinton, Louisiana.

Burial will follow at King Cemetery in Hartburg.

Visitation will be from 5:00-9:00 p.m. Friday, at the funeral home.

Annelle was born on December 2, 1923, in Bells, Texas. She was the daughter of Earl John Moore and Blanche Wilson Moore. Annelle was a member of the Order of the Orange Eastern Star and Hartburg Baptist Church. She was a wonderful loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She will be missed by everyone,

She was preceded in death by her parents; and brother, Russell Moore.

Annelle is survived by her husband, Harold Calvert of Hartburg; son and daughter-in-law, Lynn and Dorothy Calvert of LaPorte; daughter and son-in-law, Carol and Rex Griffin of Orange; son and daughter-in-law, John and Rose Calvert of Vidor; and daughter andson-in-law, Tami and Bob Covington of Orange.

She is also survived by her grandchildren, Robert Calvert, Della Calvert, Jason Griffin, Denny Griffin, Casey Canizaro, Scooter Dodd, Trisha Dodd, Ryan Harrison, Rendi Hufford and Cade Covington; great-grandchildren, Kayla Calvert Clint Calvert, Kylie Calvert, Wyatt Hartford, Justin Carr, Kayla Griffin, Nicole Griffin, Kristin Griffin, Cameron Canizaro, Carter Canizaro, Paysli Hufford; and sister, Edna Earl Sears of Bells, Texas.

Serving as pallbearers will be her grandsons, Jason Griffin, Denny Griffin, Robert Calvert, Ryan Harrison, Justin Carr and Cade Covington.
