Annette Marie Willey Lormand, 87 years old, entered her heavenly home Sunday June 4, 2017.

She was a native of Jasper County Texas and lived most of her life in Nederland Texas and Orange. She was a resident of Cypress Glen Nursing home in Groves, Texas and Compassion Hospice at the time of her death.

She was the daughter of Frank J and Serena Willey, born Jan 20, 1930. She was the oldest sibling and was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, Frank Jr and a sister Edna Totten.

She was married to the love of her life Wayne F Lormand for over 60 years, and he also preceded her in death Oct 1,2005. She had one grand baby who preceded her in death as well.

Left to cherish her life and her memory are her children, Sandra Taylor of Beaumont, Richard Lormand and Mike Lormand of Orange, Texas. Sisters, Bea Williams of Carthage, Nancy Templain of Beaumont and Janis (Betty)Mathews of Sherwood, Ark. Brothers Joseph Willey and Philip Willey of Dallas. Nine grandchildren, many great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews who loved her deeply and will miss her as well.

Annette was a member of Little Cypress Baptist Church, where she was active in choir, children ministry and cooking for family night dinners. She was also a faithful employee of Palais Royal where she leaves many friends to cherish her memories.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, June 10, 2017, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Orange.

Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Friday, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange.
