Annie Laura Dixon
Annie Laura Dixon, 70, of Port Arthur, Texas, passed away on October 11, 2017, in Port Arthur, Texas.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, October 14, 2017, at Claybar Funeral Home in Bridge City, Texas. Officiating will be Father Steve Leger, of St. Henry Catholic Church, in Bridge City, Texas. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Orange, Texas.
Visitation will be at 9:00 a.m. with a Rosary at 10:30 a.m., on Saturday, October 14, 2017, at Claybar Funeral Home in Bridge City, Texas.
Born in Church Point, Louisiana, on January 4, 1947, she was the daughter of Joseph Ebenezer Daigle and Elizabeth McBride Daigle. Annie worked at Market Basket and the Beaumont Civic Center. She was a beloved member of St. Henry Catholic Church in Bridge City. Annie loved helping out others in any way she could. In her free time she enjoyed bingo, making flower arrangements, and enjoyed drinking Big Red. She always put on her makeup no matter where she was going. As a request from Annie, no black attire at the funeral. Annie will be greatly missed by all those who knew and loved her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph Ebenezer Daigle and Elizabeth McBride Daigle; and her brother, Jimmy Lee Daigle.
Annie is survived by her daughter, Tina Louise Dies, of Louisville, Kentucky, and her sons David Huey Dies, of Bridge City, Texas, Joseph Lee Dies, of Bridge City, Texas, and Paul Adam Caillier and wife Rita, of Mauriceville, Texas; her grandchildren, Simone Michelle Dies, Shania Paige Dies, Kody Mann, Kody Addison, and Kayla Suggett and husband Wayne; and her great grandchildren, Grace and Kreedyn Suggett.
Serving as pallbearers will be Joseph Dies, David Dies, Paul Caillier, Kody Mann, Mitch Daigle, Scott McCorkle, Damon Braus and Wayne Braus.
