Annie L. Kern, 96, of Orange, died Sunday, April 11, 2010, at Baptist Hospital in Orange.
Funeral services will be at 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 13th, at Claybar Funeral Home Chapel in Orange. Officiating will be Reverend Randall R. Branch, pastor of Wesley United Methodist Church in Orange.
Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service on Tuesday.
Burial will follow at the City Cemetery in Jacksonville, Texas.
Born in Beckville, Texas on February 23, 1914, she was the daughter of Josie Hillian and Sam Houston Norris.
Mrs. Kern was a retired cashier from Market Basket in Orange and was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Lovis Kern and brother, Houston Norris.
Mrs. Kern is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Dorothy J. "Dot" and Rayford E. Jimerson of Orange; grandchildren, Gary Jimerson and his wife, Mary of Dayton, Terri Blanda and her husband, Joey of Orange; and great grandchildren, K.C. Jimerson, Jessica Blanda and Jenna Blanda.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Wesley United Methodist Church Building Fund, 401 N. 37th Street, Orange, Texas 77630.
