Annie Laura Chance, 89, of Orange, died Thursday, March 11, 2010, at Orange Baptist Hospital.
Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m., Monday, March 15, 2010, at Claybar Funeral Home Chapel in Orange. Officiating will be Reverend Gary Wheeler with First United Pentecostal Church in Orange. Burial will follow at Orange Forest Lawn Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5:00-9:00 p.m., Sunday, at the funeral home.
Annie was born March 12, 1920, in Fletcher, Texas. She was the daughter of Pellum and Nancy Die Condray.
Annie worked as part of the Lumberton ISD cafeteria staff.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Pellum and Nancy Condray; husband, H.A. Chance; five brothers; and two sisters.
Annie is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Virginia and Larry Hammett, of Orange; son and daughter-in-law, Joe and Lenez Green, of Deville, Louisiana; grandchildren, Jennifer McCurrach, and husband David, Michelle McGonagle, and husband Tim, Joe Green, Jr., and wife Reba; five great grandchildren, Hannah, Meghan, Gillian, Moriah, and DaLynne.
Serving as Pallbearers will be Joe Green, Jr., Tim McGonagle, Jerod Barnes, Lloyd Varnado, Jonathan Wheeler, and Tim Wallace.
