Arthur Bee Lankford, 69, of Orange, Texas died Sunday, October 3, 2010, at Senior Rehab Nursing Facility.
Funeral services will be 3:00 p.m. Thursday, October 7, 2010, at Claybar Funeral Home Chapel in Orange. Officiating will be Brother T.J. Bordelon of Cove Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Autumn Oaks Cemetery in Orange.
Visitation will be from 6:00-9:30, Wednesday at the funeral home.
Born in Port Acres, Texas on September 8, 1941, Arthur was the son of Anna Clements and Cecil Rhodes Lankford. He served in the US Air Force in Vietnam and was retired from Lanxess.
Preceded in death by his parents, Anna and Cecil Lankford, Arthur is survived by his wife, Joan Claire Lankford of Orange; daughter, Elizabeth Ann Lankford Crowell and her husband, Jeremy Joseph of Bridge City; brothers-in-law, Walter Williamson and Elton Willie; and friends, Ed Trahan and Jerry Freeman.
