Ashley Meyers, 24, of Beaumont, passed away on November 14, 2021.
Born in Beaumont, Texas, on November 13, 1997, she was the daughter of Fredrick Henry Meyers and Anna Louise (Jones) Meyers. She graduated from Hardin-Jefferson High School. Ashley was an adoring mother to her pride and joy, her beautiful son Liam. She purposed her life toward instilling in him the purest happiness and bliss, a calling unmatched by any former or future endeavor. She had an incredibly benevolent soul that utterly encaptured the hearts of every person she met. Ashley’s heart of gold was conjoined with an immense courage that allowed her to live her life to the fullest and to the beat of her own fearless, carefree drum. She possessed an unparalleled talent in the arts, often expressing her deep appreciation for life and nature through painting and sketching. She always had a unique and profound compassion toward animals of all kinds, having a sense of empathy and selflessness toward them that not many understood but everyone knew of. To know Ashley was to know love in its purest form. Her bubbly personality and lively spirit had the ability to brighten and enliven any room she entered. Ashley was a friend to all and held her friends and family near to her heart. When she loved someone, she loved with everything she had, leaving no room for doubt or second-guessing of her fondness for those she cared about. Ashley left an extraordinary and unique impact on everyone she met and will be deeply missed by all who loved her.
She is survived by her father, Fritz Meyers of Beaumont; mother, Anna Meyers; step-mother, April Meyers; grandfather, Rick Jones of Heath; son, Liam Mordente; siblings, Danialle Birdwell and husband Brandell, Fritz “Bubba” Meyers II and wife Railie, and Heather Meyers; step-sister, Sarah Gilcrease; and step-brother Dillon Gilcrease; along with numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and other loving family and friends.
A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m., Saturday, November 20, 2021, at Northpoint Community Church in Beaumont.
Cremation will be held under the direction of Claybar Kelley Watkins Funeral Home in Beaumont.
