Audrey Mae Meme Mann

Audrey Mae "Meme" Mann, 83, of Orange, Texas died Wednesday, September 22, 2010, at the Medical Center of Southeast Texas in Port Arthur.

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, September 25, 2010, at Claybar Funeral Home in Bridge City. Officiating will be Reverend Bob Boone. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens near Bridge City.

Visitation will be from 5:00-8:00 p.m., Friday at the funeral home.

Born in Oberlin, Louisiana on March 16, 1927, Audrey was the daughter of Delia Veillion and Dolvic Deshotel. She was the co-owner of Mann's Construction and was a member of First Baptist Church of Bridge City. She loved life and traveling with her two best friends, Ann Boyett and Dorothy Cotton.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, R.A. Mann; and daughter-in-law, Linda Solomon.

Audrey is survived by her son, Richard Solomon of Bridge City and his fiancée, Linda Miller of Beaumont; daughter, Belinda Broom and husband, James of Orange; son, Kenneth Mann and his fiancée, Toni Dyer of Orange; grandchildren, Melisa Winn, Melanie Rozas, Chace Mann, Eric Broom, and Alec Mann; and great-grandchildren, Trey Ayres, Sydney Winn, Taylor Rozas, Arron Winn, and Amber Winn.

She is also survived by her sisters, Joy, Betty, and Ethel.

Serving as Pallbearers will be Jim Simon, Ray Bagley, Eric Broom, Chace Mann, Trey Ayres, and Arron Winn. Honorary Pallbearers will be Alec Mann and Robert Simonton.
