August Galley, Jr., 63, passed away October 26, 2010 in Beaumont, Texas. At the time of his death he was a resident of Winnie, Texas.
August was born in Mermentau, Louisiana October 2, 1947. He was a Veteran of the United States Air Force and served during the Viet Nam Era.
He is survived by his sons, David Galley and Miguel Galley; daughter, Danielle Zamora; and grandchildren Rachael Galley, Thomas Galley, Gabrielle Segura, Alexandrea Segura, Alicia Segura, Lorin Galley and Justin Galley. Also surviving are his brothers Alced and Clifton Galley and sisters Neva Brinson, Jean Galley and Frances Galley.
A memorial service remembering and honoring August will be conducted in the chapel of Claybar Kelley-Watkins FuneralHome, October 30, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. At this time Military Honors will take place honoring August.
August will be inurned at the Houston National Cemetery in Houston, Texas.
