She was my BFF, my confidante, my sister, my soft place to fall, my go-to always, my cheerleader, my special here-on-earth by-my-side buddy and there was an un-breakable bond between us. She was brave and accepted what life dealt with a poise and patience unknown to most humans. A huge hole will remain in my heart all my remaining days. Rest In Peace my precious friend. God’s glory awaits you.

Barbara was such a sweet lady. She always had such a beautiful smile and was a ray of sunshine to those of us who worked at UTMB with her, in the prison system. She gave us many , many laughs with her wit and funny stories. Our prayers are with the family in this difficult time.
