Beatrice Alviar, 82, of Rose City was born March 26, 1935 in Port Arthur, Texas to the late, Feliciano and Maria Gonzalez Lopez and passed away November 15, 2017 in Beaumont. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, November 18, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at Cristo Rey Catholic Church in Beaumont. Interment will follow in Magnolia Cemetery.
A gathering of family and friends will be on Friday, November 17, 2017 from 5-8:00 p.m. at Claybar Kelley-Watkins Funeral Home with a Rosary recited at 6:00 p.m.
Mrs. Alviar was a homemaker, a member of Cristo Rey Catholic Church and a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and sister.
She was preceded in death in 2010 by her husband, Santos. Those left to cherish her memory include her daughters and sons-in-law, Mary Del-Pilar and Francisco B. Lopez of Rose City, Esther and Jose D. Bernal of Rose City, Elida and James Marshall of Beaumont, Christina and Jose G. Hernandez of Beaumont; sons, Lloyd Russell Langham of Port Arthur, Robert “Bobby” Langham and wife, Karen of Port Arthur; brothers, Luis Lopez of Beaumont and Robert Lopez and wife, Linda of Port Arthur; 18 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
