Becky Hatfield

Rebecca Ann "Becky" Hatfield, 57, of Orange, died Saturday, August 1, 2009, at Baptist Hospital in Beaumont.

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 5, 2009, at Claybar Funeral Home Chapel in Orange. Officiating will be Pastor Joe Raiborn, pastor of Harvest Outreach, a ministry of the Church of God of Prophecy in Orange. Assisting will be Bishop A.T. Colley and Bishop Bobby Patterson, both of the Church of God of Prophecy.

Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens near Bridge City.

Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Born in Orange on July 15, 1952, Becky was the daughter of Jeffery William and Geraldine Fae Marburger Trahan. She was an administrative assistant with The Orange Leader for over 20 years.

Becky was a member of Harvest Outreach, a ministry of the Church of God of Prophecy, for over 45 years and was very involved in the ministries of the church.

She participated in several mission trips with the church including, Spain, Paraguay, Turks and Caicos Islands. She was also in involved in Home Missions and she had served as co-leader of Girl Scout Troop 6189.

Becky was preceded in death by her parents, Jeffery W. "Turk" and Geraldine Fae Trahan.

She is survived by her husband, Steve Hatfield of Orange; daughter, Megan Hatfield, of Orange; sisters, Bernadette Price of Brookwood, Alabama, Frances Hogg and Tina Jo Delk, both of Orange; brother, Jeffery Trahan, Jr. of Shenandoah, Iowa.

Also surviving are nieces, Janet Trahan, Brandi Trahan, Christina Delk; nephews, Greg Trahan, Joseph Delk, Logan Hatfield, Max Hatfield; great niece, Kirstee Trahan; great nephews, Dillon Trahan, Tristen Trahan and Jay Mason Delk.

Serving as pallbearers will be Greg Trahan, Joseph Delk, Aaron LeBert, Corey LeBert, Rodney Goins, Chuck Long, John Cordova and Mike Cordova.
