Belle Louise Carter

Belle Louise Beck-Carter, 91, of Beaumont, passed away on January 19, 2025. 

 Throughout her life, Belle was known for her warm smile and kind-hearted nature. She dedicated a significant part of her career to serving others at the YWCA in Beaumont, where her patience and communication skills made a lasting impression on all who had the pleasure of working with her. As we remember Belle, we honor not only her professional contributions but also the personal connections she made along the way. She leaves behind a legacy of care and compassion that will not be forgotten. Her memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew her.

 She is preceded in death by her husband, William Roland Carter and both of her children, Carrie Kay Torres and Patrick Wynn “T-Bird” Carter.

 She is survived by her grandchildren, Mark Westbrook, Crystal Leatherwood, Kathryn Pete, Johnathon Leatherwood, and Holly Murphy; 10 great-grandchildren; 10 great-great-grandchildren; and numerous other loving family members and friends.

 The family would like to extend special thanks to the staff and nurses at Heart-to-Heart Hospice and Focused Care at Summer place for caring for her all these years. Your love and compassion did not go unnoticed.

 Cremation will be held under the direction of Claybar Funeral Home in Orange.
