Bridge City, Texas

Berkley James “Jimmy” Lemoine, Jr., 81, of Bridge City, Texas, passed away on March 31, 2024, at Birchwood in Beaumont, Texas.

Born in Port Arthur, Texas, on January 6, 1943, he was the son of Berkley James Lemoine, Sr. and Mable Marie Theriot Lemoine. Jimmy, known to his grandchildren as "Paw Paw," had a deep affection for antiques and classic cars. His love for vehicles, especially Corvettes and Camaros, was evident to all who knew him. Whether he was admiring these classic cars or sharing stories about their history, Jimmy's enthusiasm was contagious. A true automobile enthusiast at heart, he found joy in being on the open road, driving. While Jimmy may no longer be with us in person, his memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved him. May he rest in peace knowing that he touched the lives of many and left behind a legacy of love and joy.

He is preceded in death by his parents, B.J. and Mable Lemoine; his brother, Johnny Lemoine; his grandmother, Grace Lemoine; his parents-in-law, Alvin and Lucille Myers; and his brother-in-law, Edward Myers.

He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Elaine Lemoine; his sons, Michael Lance Lemoine and wife, Sunyi of Orange, and Brad Anthony Lemoine and wife, Robin of Bridge City; his grandchildren, Aaron Lemoine and wife, Mercedes, Kaley Lemoine, Kolby Killmer, and Kasen Killmer; his great grandchildren, Hudson Lemoine, Mila Lemoine, and Maylee Killmer; and numerous other loving family members and friends.

Cremation will be held under the direction of Claybar Funeral Home in Orange.
