Bertha Linscomb, 94 lifelong resident of Sour Lake passed away September 16, 2008 at Pine Arbor Nursing Home in Silsbee.
A graveside service will be at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, September 20, 2008 at Rosedale Cemetery in Sour Lake.
A gathering of friends and family will be from 4 to 8 p.m., Friday at Claybar Kelley-Watkins Funeral Home in Beaumont.
Mrs. Linscomb was born February 7, 1914 in Fostoria, TX to Levi and Callie McShan Bass.
She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Bobby and Joyce Linscomb of Ozona and Claudis Jr. and Maxine Linscomb of Branson, MO; granddaughter, Shalanda Votaw and husband David of Hillister; two great grandchildren, Amanda McGough of Port Arthur and Darren Votaw of Hillister and one great great granddaughter, Katlyn McGough of Port Arthur.
Mrs. Linscomb is preceded in death by her husband Claudis Linscomb; son, Norwood Banning; 3 brothers and 2 sisters.
