Bertin A Gondron, Sr., 87, of Bridge City, died, Sunday, October 28, 2007 in Groves.
Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, November 3, 2007 at Claybar Funeral Home Chapel in Bridge City. Officiating will be Reverend Jim McClintock of St. Henry Catholic Church in Bridge City.
Entombment will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Groves.
A visitation will be from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m., Friday, November 2 at the funeral home with a vigil begining at 6:00 p.m.
Bertin was born January 4, 1920 in Loreauville, LA to Emile and Alzire Broussard Gondron. He served in the U.S. Air Force during WWII and was a retired pipefitter for Texaco.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and one sister.
Bertin is survived by his wife Dorine Gondron of 64 years; sons, Bertin A. Gondron, Jr. and wife Brenda of Seabrook, TX and Glenn J. Gondron and wife Auary Mae of Doucette, TX. He is also survived by four grandchildren, Leah Gondron, Angela Gondron, Dawn Gondron, Patricia Gondron, two great-grandchildren, Serenity Gondron, Ashley Evans, and two sisters, Odette Blanchard and Mae Dore`.
