Bettie Hoffpauir, 82, of Orange, died Tuesday, December 28, 2010, at her home.
Memorial service will be held 3:00 p.m. Sunday, January 2, 2011, at St. Paul Episcopal Church in Orange with Reverend Marv Howland officiating. Interment of cremated remains will follow at St. Paul Episcopal Church Columbarium in Orange.
Born in Highland Park, California on October 20, 1928, Bettie was the daughter of Lloyd and Lurea Palmer. She was a long time member of St. Paul Episcopal Church, a member of the Woman's Golf Association at Sunset Grove Country Club, Bengal Guard and many local bridge groups. Bettie was one of the original Red Cross Gray Ladies at the Orange Memorial Hospital until this past year.
Preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Harold, Bettie is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Robert North of Pasadena; one grandson, Gary Castleberry; and one great-grandson, Trey Dreher.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Bettie Hoffpauir to St. Paul Episcopal Church, 1401 West Park Avenue, Orange, Texas 77630.
