Betty Jean Mott, 85, of Orange, passed away on August 6, 2020, in Vidor.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m., Saturday, August 8, 2020, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange. Burial will follow at St. Mary Cemetery in Orange.
Visitation will begin at 9:30 a.m., prior to the funeral service, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange.
Born in Orange, Texas, on March 13, 1935, she was the daughter of Gene O. Broussard and Geneva (Clement) Broussard. Betty was a homemaker, providing for and nurturing her family as the great mother she was. She had a deep love for her family that overflowed into every aspect of her life. Betty worked diligently as a bookkeeper for White’s Chevron for many years. She loved her 5 grandchildren, & Brenon and Payton whom she considered just as much her grandchildren. She enjoyed cooking, watching tv and was an avid sports fan, always rooting for her teams the Astros and Dallas Cowboys. Betty will be dearly missed by all those who came to know and love her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Gene O. and Geneva Broussard; husband of 40 years, Robert L. Mott; and daughter, Terri Mott.
She is survived by her sons, Keith Mott and wife Becky of Fentress, Jon Mott and wife JoLynn of Orangefield; grandchildren, Ryan Mott, Grant Mott and wife Anna, Leanna Mott Isenhower and husband Lucas, Whitney Mott Richard and husband Ryan, and Matthew Mott and wife Becca; great-grandchildren, Aubrey Mott, Rylee Simmons, Reese Richard, Anson Isenhower, Jayce Mott, and Baker Mott; and sister, Pam Burrows and husband Billy of Orange.
Serving as pallbearers will be Grant Mott, Matthew Mott, Ryan Mott, Brenon Smith, Bobby Smith, Lucas Isenhower, and Ryan Richard.
