Beverly Mathews Anderson, 88 years of age, of Orange, Texas passed away peacefully at her son's home on April 22, 2026.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 pm, Sunday, April 26, 2026, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange. Officiating will be Glen Prince. Cremation will be held under the direction of Claybar Funeral Home.

Visitation will be held prior to the service beginning at 2:00 pm, at Claybar Funeral Home.

Beverly was born in Egan, Louisiana on February 18, 1938. She was the daughter of V.J. and Ruth Mathews. She enjoyed quilting, crocheting, cross stitching, sewing and spending time with her family and friends.

Beverly is preceded in death by her parents; V.J. and Ruth Mathews; her husband, Tommy Lee; her sister, Elaine Jagneaux; her daughter, Ruthie Edwards; her sons, Bobby and Jeffrey Anderson; her daughter-in-law, Amy Anderson; and her granddaughter, Shara Ellis.

Beverly is survived by her sister; Diane Prince (Glen); her brother, Jimmy Mathews (Mala); her sons, Tommy Anderson and Andy Anderson (Cris); daughters-in-law, Trisha Anderson and Darlene Anderson; eight grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandson; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Adam Anderson, Jacob Edwards, Zackery Anderson, Shelton Moore, Lucas Moore and Logan Anderson.
