Beverly Elizabeth Ellis passed away August 9, 2023, at Baptist Hospital of Southeast Texas, surrounded by her family.
A memorial gathering will be from 1:00-4:00 pm Sunday, August 20, 2023, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange.
She was born January 17, 1962, in Valdosta, Georgia. Beverly was a graduate of Little Cypress-Mauriceville class of 1980. She was an avid reader and loved spending time with her grandchildren. She enjoyed watching college football. She was a life long George Strait fan.
Beverly is survived by her husband of 34 years Jerry Ellis; daughter Jacie Bowser and husband Ryan of Magnolia, Texas; son Clay Willey and wife Corie of Bevil Oaks, Texas; daughter Katie Ray and husband Aaron of College Station, Texas; grandchildren, Paisley Ray, Bristol Ray, Julius Bowser, Mason Ray, Gabriel Bowser, Cooper Willey, and Casen Willey.
She is preceded in death by her mom, Mary Janet Coody.
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to St. Jude’s as this was Beverly’s favorite charity to donate to yearly.

We have been neighbors for many years, we love Beverly and Jerry and their children, she was always a happy loving person, the same every time we visited, she will be missed and always be in our thoughts, ever time we look out our back door, we will be looking for her, This family will always be in our hearts and prayers .
