Beverly Vincent, 58, of Bridge City, died Friday, November 23, 2007, at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont.
Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, November 27, 2007, at Claybar Funeral Home Chapel in Bridge City. Officiating will be Reverend John Bickham, associate minister with First Baptist Church in Orange.
Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens near Bridge City.
Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m. Monday, at the funeral home.
Born December 8, 1948, in Bridge City, she was the daughter of Joseph and Della Wagner Leonard.
Beverly was a former resident of Port Arthur, has lived in Bridge City for the past 27 years and was a substitute teacher with Bridge City ISD.
She was a volunteer with CASA and in 2003 was named volunteer of the year. She was a member of Community Women in Action and First Baptist Church in Bridge City.
Preceded in death by her father, Joseph Leonard and sister, Joyce Leonard, she is survived by her husband, Gable Vincent; mother, Della Leonard; daughters and sons-in-law, Melissa Vincent, Connie and Bryan Galloway, Amber and Wade Worthy; grandchildren, Tarryn, Kiley and Seth Galloway, Cade and Alexis Worthy.
Also surviving are her brother, David Leonard and sister, Judy Trevino.
