Billie Bryant-Becker, age 83, of Orange, Texas left this world to be in the loving arms of the Lord on December 24, 2014, after a brief illness.
A loving mother of four, grandmother of five a homemaker, entrepreneur, a member and past Commander of the Orange Power Squadron, an active member of the Orange chapter of Red Hat Ladies and ardent supporter of the arts in Orange for many years.
Born in Shreveport, Louisiana on March 12, 1931, Billie was the daughter of Julius William Bryant and Willie Pearl Frizzell-Bryant.

Also, she is survived by her childhood best friend, Marlene Huckaby, longtime family friend Ken Wernig and her dear companion, John LeJune, with whom she shared many happy times dancing and traveling during the last year of her life.
Billie’s interests included family, boating, gardening, reading, prayer and meditation, and being the vibrate hostess and socialite.
Billie had a smile that was as charismatic as her personality and she was never at a loss for encouraging words to all. A small part of the legacy Billie leaves us is her dynamic charm, wit and her undying optimism no matter how severe the tragedy or challenge.
She loved meeting new people and easily made friends. The majority of her friendships could be counted in decades rather than years.
We wish to thank Irma, Terryl, Della and Larry for dedicating all of their love and care in this time of need and Tara Bryant-Weatherford for providing our Christmas dinner. The family also wishes to thank the multitude of friends that have offered their condolences and support for us privately and included us in their prayers.
“Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted.” Matthew 5:4
