Billie Eloise Meade
Billie Eloise Meade, 89, of Orange, Texas, passed away on October 9, 2024, at her home.
Born in Winnfield, Louisiana, on November 30, 1934, she was the daughter of Rufus Carl Heyse and Bell (Jordan) Heyse. Billie embraced the role of a mother to everyone she met, always nurturing those around her with kindness and warmth. She was known for taking care of everyone, and her presence brought joy to many lives. Those who had the pleasure of meeting her couldn't help but love her. She had a wonderful way of making people feel at ease, and her compassion knew no bounds. Billie loved to keep busy and found joy in hobbies such as playing bingo and crafting wooden items that she often gifted to friends and family. Her heart was as big as her love for animals; she frequently cared for strays and enjoyed feeding them, showing her gentle nature. Billie will be deeply missed by all who knew her, as she leaves behind countless memories and a legacy of love that will continue to inspire those she touched.
She is preceded in death by her daughter, Debbie Perry.
She is survived by her children, Glenda Palmer, Cindy Marshall and husband Wayne, Robert Vidrine and wife Debbie, Craig Vidrine and wife Mandy, Cathy Vidrine, Ken Klosterman, Jr., and Matt Perry; nineteen grandchildren; seventeen great grandchildren; ten great-great grandchildren; as well as other loving family and friends.

Cremation will be held under the direction of Claybar Funeral Home in Orange.
