Blanche Broussard

Blanche Broussard, 79, of Orange, died Wednesday, November 28, 2007, at her residence.
Funeral service will be 2:00 PM Saturday, December 1, 2007, at Claybar Funeral Home Chapel in Orange. Interment will follow at Orange Forest Lawn Cemetery in Orange.
Visitation will begin at 5:00 PM on Friday at the funeral home.
Blanche was born April 20, 1928, in Mansfield, LA.
A lifelong resident of Orange, she worked as a guidance counselor at West Orange-Stark East Campus and was involved in the real estate business.
Blanche had a BA in accounting from Lamar Tech and a Masters in education from the University of Houston.
She enjoyed gardening, and dearly loved being with her grandsons.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Earl Michael Broussard.
She is survived by her sons, Kevin Chambless of Orange, Kyle Broussard and daughter-in-law, Cindy Broussard both of Beaumont; grandsons, Michael Broussard, Garrett Broussard and Sam Broussard; sisters Sue DeVille of Orange and Cary Podewicz of Sarasota, FL.
Serving as pallbearers will be Kyle Broussard, Kevin Chambless, Larry David Broussard, Earnest Wayne Runnels, John Winn and Steve Winn.
