Obituary
Bobbie Allmon
Bobbie Allmon, born May 11, 1929, in Shelbyville, Texas, died May 16, 2016, in Beaumont, Texas. She was a beautiful lady, who slipped into the waiting arms of Jesus and her beloved husband Paul of 53 years who has been waiting for her 16 years. She has truly been the most wonderful Wife, Mother, Grandmother, and Great-Grandmother. Words cannot express how deeply we will miss her, and the void her departure will leave in our lives. We honor her today and always.
She is survived by two sons, Randy Allmon and wife, Sylvia, of The Woodlands, TX, Mike Allmon and wife, Nancy, of Waco, TX; her daughter, Paula Goforth and husband, Eddie, of Orange, TX. She was blessed with nine Grandchildren, ten Great-Grandchildren, and one sister, Marie Bittick, of Lufkin, TX, including many nieces, nephews, North Carolina family members, and a host of friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul J Allmon; her father, Iva Coe, her mother, Pluma Reedy Coe, and her sisters, Hazel Weeks and Iva Nell Shelton.
Her visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 8:p.m., on May 19th, 2016, at Claybar Funeral Home, Orange, TX. Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m., on May 20th 2016 at Old First Orange Baptist Church.
Officiating the service is Reverend Keith Meyer of Old First Orange Baptist Church.
Pallbearers are: Ron Teaff, Jerry Murphy, Dexter Allmon, Ray Wilson, Michael Allmon Jr., Brad Evans, Ronnie Wilson, and Neil Wilson. Honorary pallbearers are Chad Allmon, Josh Brinegar, Steve Gurley, Landen Mayer, Matt Tisdale, and Tommy Wilson.
