"Miss Bobbie" was formerly a homemaker, an elementary school Title I instructor, and a First Lady of Logansport for her husband the Mayor. During WWII, she worked in a metals factory in California. She was a 50+ year member of Eastern Star and the Baptist Church in Logansport and Orange. Her avocation was chief supporter of her

girls' basketball team and her sons' all-sports teams, attending every game and assisting needy students with funds for equipment and travel.

Her other hobbies were pole fishing, gardening in the park with Coach, collecting hummingbirds, watching T.V. sports and working on crossword puzzles.
