Bonnie Nichols, 87, of Tomball passed away Sunday, June 7, 2009.
There will be a funeral service at 10:00 a.m., Friday, June 12, 2009 at Claybar Kelley-Watkins Chapel. Interment will follow at Cooper Cemetery in DeRidder, LA at 3:00 p.m.
A gathering of friends and family will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., Thursday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Nichols was born October 20, 1921 in Louisiana and had worked at Bethlem Steel where she met her husband. She was a member of North End Baptist Church, which she loved dearly for 45 years. She lived in Ridge Wood Retirement Community prior to her move to Tomball.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Nichols and is survived by her daughter, Sharlene Nichols of Tomball; brother, Howell Tarver of Fort Worth and sister of Dixi Osburn of Houston.
