Brenden Allen Joseph Barlow, 23, gained his angel wings on August 26, 2023. Brenden was one of the most loving, caring people you could meet. He was a giving person with a servant’s heart. Brenden accepted the Lord and was baptized at the age of 8.
Funeral services will be 3:00 p.m. Thursday, August 31, 2023, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange. Officiating will be his grandmother, Aletha Jackson.
Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 31, 2023, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange.
Brenden loved fishing, hunting, cooking, his pit bulls, and mostly, his large family. Being outdoors at the deer camp, the beach or the river were his favorite places to be. He was an avid 3rd generation fan of “Da Boyz”. Dallas Cowboys ruled in football. His special bonds gained him nicknames such as Popeye, Shadow, and Bren.
Brenden was preceded in death by a host of angels including his grandfather Allen Joseph Harrington, his great grandparents Alton and Esther Frazee, his uncle Eddie Barlow Jr., his aunt Dee Hodgkinson, his special friend Brad Toney, and a host of others.
Brenden is survived by many, his parents Brandi and Jarrod Barlow, his brothers Bryce Barlow, Chase Shugart, and Kane Shugart, his grandparents Sylvia Harrington, Aletha and Curtis Jackson, Eddie and Bertha Barlow, and Wanda and Ronnie Shugart, his uncles Chuck Ozan and wife Mandy and children, Trent Barlow, Dustin Barlow and wife Kellie, Daren Harrington, and Sam Fussell and wife Traci, and Tommy Martin and family, his godfather Donald Williams, his aunts Amanda Cantu and husband Robert and their children, Dana Jordan and husband Bill and their children, Renee Harrington and her children, Virginia Jackson, Renee Chilty, and Mimi Robyn Shugart, his cousins Kelsey, Dale , Kyrstan, Brandon, Marcus, TJ, Leah, Blade, Whitney, Claire, Gus, Aleah, Alexis, Alyssa, Kansas, and Penelope, his special friend Amanda Swanson, and his childhood friend Holden Hargrave.
Brenden will be missed by a host of family and friends. We were blessed to be loved by you, Bren. Rest in paradise. Watch over us all. We will look in our hearts and pray that everyone “love like Brenden”.
