Brennan Clarke Covington, 26, a former resident of Orange, Texas died Friday, June 18, 2010, at St. Anthony Hospital in Denver, Colorado after a sudden illness.
Funeral services have been set for 10:30 a.m. Thursday, June 24, 2010, at First Presbyterian Church in Orange. Officiating will be Dr. Tim Griffin, former pastor of First Christian Church - Disciples of Christ in Orange. A graveside service will follow at 4:00 p.m. at Glenwood Cemetery, 2525 Washington Ave, Houston, Texas, 77007; phone number 713 864-7886.
Visitation will be from 5:00-9:00 p.m., Wednesday at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange.
Born in Beaumont, Texas on March 7, 1984, Brennan was the son of Kelly Renee Smith and Russell Stuart Covington. He graduated from Little Cypress Mauriceville High School class of 2002. Brennan was loved and adored by all who knew him. He was a very loving and beautiful person who will be greatly missed by his many family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Jack Wilson and Sue Smith.
Brennan is survived by his mother, Kelly Simmons of Houston; father, Russell Covington and wife Jennifer of Orange; grandparents, Don and Claire Covington of Orange; sisters, Katy Covington of Houston, and Jayne Covington and Lydia Covington, both of Orange.
