Brian Patrick Baty

Brian Baty, 35, of Mont Belvieu, formerly of Victoria and Vidor, passed away on May 1, 2020, at home surrounded by family.
A memorial gathering will be held at a later time.
Born in Beaumont, Texas on May 10, 1984, he was the son of Thomas and Fran Baty. He graduated from Vidor High School and went on to get his Bachelor’s Degree before working at Jefferson Entergy Company. Brian was first and foremost a family man. He enjoyed soaking up as much time as he could with them, be it playing soccer, cooking, or traveling. He enjoyed vacations and always wanted the whole extended family to come. Brian was a down to earth guy, and you knew that once you became his friend, you became part of his family. He will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents.
Brian is survived by his high school sweetheart a & wife of 12 years, Ryan Baty; his son, Hunter and daughter Addyson; parents, Thomas and Fran Baty; brothers, Thomas Baty III & wife Lydia of Vidor, and Jason Baty & girlfriend Mellissa of Houston; nieces, Alexis Baty, Emily Baty, and Kambrie Leger; mother –in-law Ladonna Cagnon of Huntsville; as well as a host of other family and friends who he cherished.
