I have fond memories of Mr. Birdwell. He had a sweet little wink when he was joking around with you. When he would come to College Station to visit His boys, he would take all the college kids out to eat a steak dinner. Even though I was not a student at the time, he always included me. Generous and kind, a sweet childhood memory for me. May God bless the family with strength and love at this time. Brenda Slone Bland

Dear Friends, Your dad was a wonderful and sweet man, friend to all and probably the most caring of his generation. Hold tight to precious memories. You will be in my thoughts and prayers. My best.
