Buddy Bodden, 57, of Lumberton, passed away on Wednesday, August 24, 2016 at his home.
Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Thursday, September 1, 2016 at Claybar Kelley Watkins Funeral Home. Officiating will be Stephen Minister Brad Burkhalter. Interment will follow at Leatherwood Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m., Wednesday, August 31, 2016 at the funeral home in Beaumont.
Buddy was born in Beaumont on March 25, 1959 to Louie Ephrem and Billie (Greer) Bodden. He worked at Baker Auto Repair as an Auto Technician for almost 26 years, he was a jack of all trades and there wasn’t anything he couldn’t fix. He enjoyed racing and hunting but most of all he loved his children and grandbabies.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Louie Ephrem and Billie (Greer) Bodden and sister, Lou Buxton.
Those left to cherish his memory are his son and daughter-in-law, Brandon and Brianna Bodden; daughter, Haylee Bodden and their mother, DeeAnn Burge. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Korbyn Elkins and Braylee Bodden and his fiancée, Renee Burge.
Serving as pallbearers will be Preston Cooper, Tim Baker, Larry Poe, Kyle Sullivan, Jerry Burkett and J.R. Denton. Honorary pallbearers are Illya Coleman, Ray Hardy, Mike Lane, Chris Loar, Glen Johnson and Gary Watson.
