C. A. "Bud" Minshew, 76, of Orange, Texas died Saturday, July 31, 2010, at the Medical Center of Southeast Texas in Port Arthur.
Graveside services will be 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 3, 2010, at Neches Cemetery in Neches, Texas.
Visitation will be from 5:00-8:00 p.m., Monday at Claybar Funeral Home in Bridge City.
Born in Neches, Texas on November 24, 1933, Bud was the son of Irene Morris and Chester Arthur Minshew, Sr. He served in the US Army and formerly worked as a lab supervisor at Chevron Chemical Company. He was a Master Mason and member of the Grand Lodge of Texas in Port Neches, #1163.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Irene and Chester Minshew, Sr.
Bud is survived by his wife, Shirley Minshew; sons, C. A. "Chuck" Minshew of Port Neches, Lonnie H. Minshew of Beaumont; daughter, Julie L. Kennedy of Port Neches; stepsons, Ronnie D. Stanley of Vidor, Randy A. Stanley of Arizona; and stepdaughter, Shirley J. Stanley of Bridge City.
He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; and sisters, Christine Mitchell of Palestine, and Bobbie Edgeworth of Greely, KS.
Serving as Pallbearers will be Lonnie Minshew, Chuck Minshew, Greg Kennedy, Kyle Kennedy, Robert Kennedy, and Nathan Minshew.
