Obituary
Calvin Lee Benoit, 78, of Bridge City, TX, passed away on March 6, 2021, surrounded by his family.
A Rosary will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, March 9, at St. Henry Catholic Church in Bridge City with a Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 10:30 a.m. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Orange.
Born in Abbeville, Louisiana, on October 15, 1942, he was the son of Dennis Benoit and Eula Mae (Duhon) Benoit. He married Loretta Guillory in 1963. He loved to go fishing, watching Nascar races, baseball, Cajun dancing and Sunday Bar-B-Ques with the family.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Loretta Benoit; parents, Dennis and Eula Benoit; brother, Kenneth Benoit.
He is survived by his children, Theresa Benoit-Mouton and husband Chris of Abbeville, LA, Todd Benoit and wife Nicole of Hemphill, TX; brother, Ted Benoit of Conroe, TX; 11 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren with a set of twins on the way.
Serving as pallbearers will be Keat Chiasson, Tyler Ibeck, Corbin Voegeli, Cody Byrd, John Mouton, and Charles Smith.
A special thank you to Carmen Mouton and Anne Marie Mouton Roy for the months of loving care to their PaPaw Calvin. Also to Altus Hospice for sharing their angels with us specifically, Chelsea and Carolyn.
At the family’s request, in lieu of flowers, please “Pay it Forward” to those in need.
